The Journey to ReEnchantment

I am never going to live in that Practical Magic house...

So many of us aren’t. Whether your first introduction to the magical was the ultra chic Kim Novak as Gillian in her hipster, urban store or the Owens sisters in their beautiful Queen Anne home, I am sure that when you think enchanted you aren’t thinking post World War II, storey and a half, suburban houses in blue collar neighbourhoods. Because I am not.

But that is where I live. And chances are that you are living somewhere similar.

If a global pandemic has taught me anything, it has taught me to make the most of being here, now. Enchantment can’t wait for a trip to the country or a walk on an ocean beach. I have to find my enchanted life here. I have to grow the connections with the land I live on. This blog is a record of that journey.
